Batman Director Releases 3-Minute Scene From Film

New footage of The Batman starring Robert Pattinson has been uploaded by director Matt Reeves after the scene leaked online last week.
The three-minute long video – uploaded in 4K – shows Bruce Wayne (Pattinson) attending the funeral of Gotham City Mayor Don Mitchell Jr. (Rupert Penry-Jones).
The scene is instantly chilling and fits Reeves’ description of The Batman as “almost horror.” But things get worse when the Riddler (Paul Dano) attacks the church.
Many of you may have seen this scene from @The Batman floating around online so i decided to put it on my vimeo in 4k. #TicketsBefore listed for sale 2/10! In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this taste… #The Batman fate #OnlyInTheaters March 4!https://t.co/ZIA8RjHqen

Screams are heard outside before a car crashes through the driveway towards the crowd gathered at the funeral.
Gotham City Police’s James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) asks the driver to get out of the car and out of District Attorney Gil Colson (Peter Sarsgaard), with his mouth taped shut, a bomb strapped to his neck and a letter on his chest reading “to the Batman”.
Despite the odd scene, The Batman is rated PG-13 by the Classification and Rating Administration.
The film will also be the longest-running portrayal of the Dark Knight on screen with a total running time of two hours and 55 minutes.
As the March 4 release date nears, Reeves addressed the backlash over Pattinson’s casting as Batman. “There wasn’t a single actor, when his announcement that he was going to play Batman in one of the feature films, that didn’t get a backlash,” he said.
