Beginner’s guide to all enchantments in Minecraft, learn how to use them
As you’d expect, enchantments in Minecraft are quite powerful, and you’ll want to collect as many of them as possible in order to have the best chance of surviving in this cruel, blocky world. To balance their incredible power, reaching the point where you can create and use a Minecraft enchantment is not an easy task, and many processes are required to create an excellent enchantment weapon.
If you’ve gotten to the point where you have everything you need to survive in Minecraft but still feel like you’re stronger, you might want to invest in an Enchanting Table. You can imbue your weapons and armor with powerful (and weird) magical abilities with these special blocks, but you never know what outcome you’ll get. Enchantments can be applied to a wide variety of items in Minecraft, however, here are the main types of items you can enchant: Armor, Tools, Weapons, and Books.
In Minecraft, there are three main ways to enchant things.
To enchant an item, go to a Minecraft enchantment table and trade XP and lapis lazuli.
Combine an enchanted book and an unenchanted item on a Minecraft anvil to earn XP.
Combine two enchanted items on an anvil to create an item with two enchantments.
Alternatively, you can sometimes get enchanted items by trading emeralds with villagers. While fishing, or as a drop after killing a Zombie, Drowned, Zombie Pigman, Bullet, Stray Skeleton, Withered Skeleton, or Skeleton, there’s a chance you’ll discover an enchanted item. In the final city, enchanted artifacts can also be looted.
