Community Sports Minister Ros Spence launched the Get Active Victoria mobile app on Wednesday June 22, which is believed to be the next installment of the state government’s Get Active Victoria online campaign encouraging people to keep their bodies healthy. movement.

“This app will encourage Victorians of all ages and fitness levels to get active with a range of workouts to get moving every day,” she said.

“We know the benefits of regular exercise are tremendous, whatever your goals, the app makes fitness accessible to everyone.”

The new app includes a range of guided workouts for beginners to more advanced and is designed by top physiotherapists, yoga instructors and personal trainers.

Users can set goals and track activity, find help through an online team, and explore new places to be active outdoors.

The initiative challenges Victorians to get 30 minutes of physical activity a day and the web version already has more than 85,000 people taking part in sessions, from family workout videos to strength and conditioning tips.
