Setting up your profile
So, setting up your profile might seem complicated if you’re not familiar with crypto wallets, but we’ll walk you through it! In this example we will use Metamask. The first step is to make a MetaMask account, which is not too difficult. Go to metamask.io to download the browser extension, or you can also download the MetaMask app from the Play Store or App Store, then set up your account.
Don’t worry, MetaMask will guide you through the process. Be sure to keep your email address and passwords safe and hidden. Now go to this link and at the top right of the web page you should see a green button saying Connect Walletas shown below:
Click on Connect Wallet, and if your wallet is not on the Binance Smart Chain, it will prompt you to do so, and may or may not prompt you for your password to make the change. Read carefully and follow the steps provided by MetaMask to change it to Binance Smart Chain.
Back on the link, navigate to Account and click Configure. Remember your login credentials. Now go to the app on your mobile/tablet and enter your Ninneko account login credentials. Congratulations! You are successfully connected!
Meet the Ninneko
Ninneko is your ninja cat. These are the NFTs the game is based on. You can use your Ninneko to fight in player versus player or adventure mode. You can also use your ninnekos to spawn and sell them in the market for ninnekos.
The Ninneko button, shows you your current Ninneko, and you can see them by faction, which are as follows, Fire, Wind, Light, Earth, Waterand Yin-Yang. You can view one faction at a time, by selecting it, or view it all at once, by deselecting the faction button. Factions are an important part of the game, and we’ll learn more about them soon.
If you click on any Ninneko, it will show you the stats and level and upgrade XP required for your Ninneko. You can upgrade your Ninneko with green fish. To level up your Ninneko, you need to max it out to the current level cap, which is 30 in this case, and then it will cost you purple fish to level up a level.
You can see the current level, required level and experience fee of your Ninneko (green fish). The green arrow increases your Neko by 1 level. There are also stats and abilities that are unlocked with levels. You can also see your Ninneko’s stats and faction.
In your bag, you can see your gear, items, shards, and artifacts. Equipment and Artifacts increase your Neko’s stats. Collecting enough shards of the same artifact unlocks that artifact. Artifact Fragments can be collected in Adventure Mode.
Gameplay overview
You can click Adventure icon to play Player v Environment. You can see here that there are a few options. The player can click battle for your Nekos to fight NPCs from here, but before that check a few things like the treasure box in the middle. This is your AFK reward chest.
You can see that being AFK rewards you with green fish, and experience and if you collect the reward after hours, you can get some purple fish. The player can also see the ranking stage and you can click on the question mark to see other important details. You can only claim rewards for 10 hours of AFK at a time. You can also see the amount of MATA (green leaf) you can collect at your current level.
If you go into battle to play the campaign, you can see your Ninnekos and the opponents. If you have more than 6 Ninnekos, you can arrange them differently, to create different types of team auras. Team auras improve your stats. You can see these stat boosts in the lower left corner, click on the wheel to read the team aura information.
You are now ready to send your Ninnekos into battle. You can see the simulation in 1x or 2x. You don’t have to do anything here, you can watch. Winning in these battles will give you many valuable rewards, sometimes purple fish or gear, green fish, and XP.
PvP mode
To play in player versus player mode, you must first complete the steps 3-8 of adventure mode, and second, you must have paid NFT Ninneko. The free Ninneko provided by the game cannot be used to play in player versus player mode. The minimum investment would be whatever is the cheapest ninneko currently available in the market. Select the cheapest option and you will be able to see the available NFT Ninneko that you can buy.
You can then use these Ninneko to spawn, or fight in arena mode or adventure mode. The way this player versus player mode works is that it’s not a real-time battle. You will have a defensive formation and an offensive formation. The defense formation will be attacked by other players, while you will use your attack formation to attack other people’s defense formation.
In player arena mode there are ranks, which are determined by points, each victory rewards you with some points. The higher your rank, the more MATA you get per win. There are 8 ranks in total, and the lowest rank is reached at 800 points. There is also the endurance of your Umineko
Ninneko Beginner’s Guide: Tips and Tricks
Here are some of our tips in our Ninneko Beginner’s Guide to help you newbies get started on your journey.
1. Don’t forget to complete your daily quests
It is important that you collect as many purple fish to level up your ninneko, and this can only be done by purple fish. You can also collect purple fish through Afk rewards, but it only gives a few purple fish after 10 hours of AFK. Your main source of purple fish is your daily quests.
2. Build a good list of Ninnekos
There are faction forces, which are, fire is strong against wind, wind is strong against thunder, thunder is strong against earth, earth is strong against water, and water is strong against fire.
Yin-Yang Ninneko has neither strength nor weakness. A faction being stronger than another faction gives Ninneko many buffs compared to the weaker faction.
3. Build your list with Team Aura
If you have ninneko of the same faction in your roster, you will get boosts that will give your ninneko advantages over your enemy. Here is the team aura chart. There are many ways to build your ninneko list. You can be creative, but you should always keep those team aura buffs in mind.
Final Thoughts
The game is fun to progress and the RPG system isn’t too complicated to figure out. Since this is an idle RPG game, you don’t have to do much during the battles. You can play a lot and earn money with MATA tokens. It’s a great concept and a great game.
