The best cars for every type of race and activity
UPDATE: After updating the game, the method below does not work as efficiently as before. Luckily, we have an updated method for earning Credits, Skill Points, XP, and Super Wheelspins here. The following information was relevant once, but not so much.
Finally, we have to talk about a reliable cheese method to earn lots of XP, Credits, Skill Points and Super Wheelspins in Forza Horizon 5. For this, we will have to rely on the following elements:
- Dodge Charger R / T Forza Edition – S1 (900); comes from the VIP pass; has the Drift Skills Boost advantage. Technically, any vehicle tuned for drift would do, but this one earns bonus points.
- Willys MB Jeep – D (198); costs 40,000 credits.
- Lamborghini Sesto Elemento – S2 (936); costs 2,500,000 credits.
First, we will use an ideal vehicle for drifting. You can either stay on the Horizon Festival tarmac or take a walk in the desert. Use 180 degree turns, drifts, electronic drifts, and burnouts to rack up high scores and multipliers until you have plenty of skill points.
Then go to the Auto Show and buy a Willys Jeep. Since it will be added to your Garage, simply open your Car Collection menu. Buying the vehicle here is faster since you can buy it multiple times without wasting those precious seconds on the Autoshow loading screens.
Now select the Willys Jeep and open the Car Mastery panel. The first skill already grants you 7,000 XP, and successive levels offer a free Wheelspin. Then take Awesome Durability (one skill point) followed by Supply Drop (three skill points).
Supply Drop is the perk that provides a free Super Wheelspin. The great thing about it is that more often than not you will be rewarded with credits as well. This should offset the costs of the Willys Jeeps you are going to buy.
After using the Super Wheelspin, be sure to mark this Willys Jeep as a favorite. The icon should help you determine which ones have used the Super Wheelspin before from those which are relatively intact. For those who have already obtained the benefit, simply go to My Horizon – Gift Drop. If you gift these vehicles, you will be able to refund the skill points after relaunching the game. Just keep repeating this process until you are satisfied with your rewards.
Now, if you want to earn a ton of XP without doing much, you will have to acquire the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. Likewise, you need to unlock the Goliath race in the Horizon Festival panel.
It is a long track that will take you through several places. You’re likely to complete a single round in about nine minutes, and during that time you’ll rack up a lot of XP and skill points.
If you already have multiple skill points, go unlock all the perks of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. Then do the following:
- Download Don Joewon Song’s tune-up for the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.
- Check the difficulty settings and activate automatic steering and traction control.
- Open the Event Lab and create a Goliath Race with 50 laps.
- Make sure you have a gamepad plugged in. Use a rubber band to hold the right trigger down.
The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento has extremely high stats. The traction and handling of the tires is perfect, allowing it to stay on the road even when you’re cruising at ridiculous speeds. With our fine tuned upgrades, automatic steering and traction control, you can let the game run while the car rolls on its own. When you return – maybe after eight hours – your 50-lap run should earn you a lot of rewards.
