The Rock is making another video game movie

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is working on another video game movie. During an interview with men’s diarythe 49-year-old former professional wrestler has revealed he’s set to star in yet another video game adaptation.
“I can’t tell you what particular game we’re doing, but there will be an announcement this year,” he said. I played for years.”
Of course, Johnson is no stranger to video game movies. He has already acted in Loss – the 2005 big screen adaptation of the classic FPS franchise. But Doom wasn’t exactly a huge hit. Far from there. Derided by critics, it stands at only 18% on rotten tomatoes and earned $58.7 million at the box office, without even recouping its budget.
Johnson also starred in Carnage, the 2018 monster movie based on the classic title from Midway Games. Without forgetting the video game based Restarting Jumanji and its sequel, Jumanji: the next level.
But Johnson promises it’s a video game adaptation gamers will love.
“I’m really excited to bring it to fans around the world,” he added. “Of course, we’re going to do the right thing for our fellow gamers, but really, we’re just going to make a great movie.”
If you’re wondering what games The Rock enjoys playing himself, it turns out he’s “always been a big Madden fan.”
But don’t expect a Madden movie. It’s much more likely that we’re talking about a more traditional video game adaptation.
In the meantime, Johnson is busy. He will star in his own DC superhero movie, black adamlater this year, and teased that his classic DC character can even fight Superman at one point. It is also voicing Krypto the Wonder Dog in the future League of Super Animals movie and should Back in Netflix’s Red Notice Sequels.
