Zendaya, in Boston for a new movie, goes shopping on Newbury Street

She’s finished season 2 of ‘Euphoria’ and has time before the next episode of ‘Dune’, so where is Zendaya spending her time? Boston, of course.
The superstar actress was spied on Newbury Street on Monday afternoon, walking her dog and doing a bit of shopping.
Zendaya, 25, perhaps best known for her role as Rue in ‘Euphoria’, was spotted around 4.45pm in Newbury between Clarendon and Dartmouth streets. She had her flowing tresses pulled back and was decked out in a black turtleneck, black leather jacket and gold specs. Cool understated, obvs.
On his Instagram Story, however, the ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ star described his Newbury Street shopping adventure as “chaos,” thanks in part to his beloved black miniature schnauzer, Noon.
“I will never take her shopping with me again,” Zendaya told her 133 million Instagram followers. “I was in the store trying to buy a pillow, you know, and he tried to fight off a German Shepherd, who’s just too big for you!”
“They didn’t have Apple Pay. Security was trying to help me pay for this fucking pillow,” she continued. “I was like, ‘Is this really worth it? Should I just go and get another pillow some other time? Order a pillow?’ And then people took my picture – I was so embarrassed.
So what is the Emmy winner doing in Boston?
Apparently, she’s in town shooting a new movie called “Challengers,” directed by Luca Guadagnino of “Call Me By Your Name” fame. Zendaya stars alongside Josh O’Connor of “The Crown” and Mike Faist of “West Side Story.” Faist gave the full “Challengers” recap while on the red carpet at the BAFTA Awards in London on Sunday.
“Monday I’m flying out to Boston to work on the next one,” Faist said in an interview. “It’s a movie with Zendaya and Josh O’Connor and it’s called ‘Challengers,’ and Luca Guadagnino is directing. And I can’t wait for it.”
Mike Faist recently mentioned that production on “Challengers” begins next week, “Monday I’m flying out to Boston to work on the next one, it’s a Zendaya & Josh O’Connor movie, and it’s called “Challengers” and Luca Guadagnino is the director. I’m really looking forward to it. pic.twitter.com/frhIlgN6bS

Unsurprisingly, social media users reacted with a bit of euphoria to Zendaya-in-Boston’s announcement.
“Now that Zendaya is in Boston, THE AIR HAS GOT COOL,” wrote one user.
On TikTok, @shephamous posted, “When you just walk over Newbury and pass Zendaya.”

Zendaya spots in Boston? It looks like the @euphoriaHBO the star is there. And the romantic comedy she’s filming has a hilarious premise:
Zendaya plays a tennis coach, who enrolls her former world champion husband in a low-level tournament, where he has to play — wait for it — his ex. https://t.co/NNTsxz9j4H
